Baptism Information 2025

-Spanish Baptism scheduled on the second Saturday of each month.

-English baptism scheduled on the third Saturday of each month.

Our next baptism class in Spanish is on October 5^th, next baptism class in English is on October 15^th. Please call the parish office to register for either class.

UPDATE! 2026 Ceremonies and Mass Intentions 

Our book for Quinceañera/Wedding ceremonies or mass intentions for 2026, is now open. For reservations of Quinceañeras or Weddings, an appointment with Fr. Kishor needs to be made 1^st. For any questions, please call the parish office.

St. Joachim’s Parish Festival BBQ Chicken Fundraiser

There will be a drive thru BBQ Chicken fundraiser on Friday October 10, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall. The tickets are now available $25.00 for ½ chicken, beans, salad, bread roll & cookie. All proceeds benefit the parish. Tickets are now available for purchase through a council member or in the Parish office. Thank you so much for all the support!

Parish Raffle Donations

In preparing for our parish festival raffle, we are looking for donations of gift baskets or prizes. We need help from all parish ministries and from any parishioner who would like to donate. Donations will be accepted at the parish office.

Rosary Rally

Dear Parishioners: Please join us at a public rosary rally taking place at 12 noon, Saturday, Oct. 11. We will meet at Sherman Park
and will pray for the repentance and conversion of our great nation, asking God to save America through the rosary of His Most Holy Mother. Please consider volunteering to help us make
this rosary rally a success! 

Would you like to have a set of Church Offering dated envelopes delivered to your

home? You will never forget a 2 nd collection or special intention if you do! It’s easy and

so convenient. Contact the parish office to be placed on the mailing list and you will

receive two months of envelopes at a time delivered with your mail and you can begin

using them immediately. Envelopes provide privacy for givers who prefer to keep their

donations discreet. They will serve as a little reminder to attend mass as well! Call the

Respect Life Sunday

A Prayer for Hope

Heavenly Father, in the sacrament of Baptism, you have given us the gift of new life. Through your son our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, you have made us your own. 

Help us to recognize the gift of human life as a sign of hope in our world. 

Reveal to us the places where your precious gift of life is most in need of protection and strengthen us to defend life in all stages and circumstances, from the child in the womb to the elderly and dying. 

Guided by your Holy Spirit, guard us from discouragement and give us the grace to be messengers of hope, filled with confidence that nothing can separate us from your love. 

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

San Luis Care Center

There will be a Mass celebration at the San Luis Care Center on October 7th at 2:00 p.m. everyone is invited to attend!

Masses Cancelled

Fr. Kishor will be attending a priest retreat from October 13th-17th. Masses and confessions are cancelled on those days. We will still have daily adoration.
If you have a mass scheduled on those days, please call the parish office to reschedule your mass. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Children’s Choir

Parishioner Sherry Saladar is trying to organize a children's choir to sing at scheduled masses throughout the Religious Education program year in conjunction with the masses that the students will be attending as classes. 

The program is open to all young children of the parish whether registered or not. The first practice session will be held on Friday, October 24 at 3:30 pm in the church choir loft.
