Grade 8-11 1st yr Confirmation

Teaching    

  • Revelation: Humans can live in friendship with God because we have a soul, reason, and free will.
  • Trinity:  Jesus’ Transfiguration revealed his divine glory as the Son of God.
  • Jesus: The first disciples worshiped together, followed Jesus' teachings, and cared for one another
  • The Church: Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Church continues to teach the truth of Christ.
  • Morality: We are called to put God first in our lives, to trust and hope in him.
  • Sacraments: Sunday observance includes participation in Mass, rest, and attention to living a holy life 
  • The Kingdom of God: Throughout her history, the Church has strived to live Jesus‘ message of love, hope, and faith.

Grade 9- 12 2nd yr Confirmation

Teaching

  • Focuses on the Holy Spirit and prepares young people to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation
  • Offers opportunities for reflection, introspection, and spiritual development.
  • Invites young people to witness Jesus with service opportunities that encourage faith-filled lives.
  • Promotes faith formation as a lifelong journey by embracing Catholic practices.
  • Encourages discipleship through Catholic Social Teaching and service in the community.
